The Riachauw Forest

Watercolor and Pencil

2020

Mo and Miss Davlon journey though the Riachauw (Spiral) Forest. Here you can see the tail-end of a Dhunnix (Laughing Stalker) making its way though the trees.  This Spiral forest has very acidic soil and only a few species of foliage can thrive here.

The large orange-red tree's spiral near the base of their trunk, when spring comes, these coils loosen to reveal thousands of delicate flowers. The sight is spectacular, but debilitating for anyone with allergies.
