The Golden Coral Shelf

Watercolor and Pencil

2020

The Golden Coral Shelf is home to many unique sea creatures such as the Orange Agros (left) and the large Grogruth (right).

The large grape purple plants are a unique type of seaweed, when they burst, the cloud released is a type of toxin that many fish on the reef are sensitive to. Most marine life steers clear of them.

Pink Beach and the White Cliff beaches are a few of the legendary Pink sand beaches people have found in Ifas. These beaches are often patrolled by a male Easum, followed by his small flock of females.

Easum are bipedal and warmblooded, often compared to flamingos. These bird-like creatures hunt for shelled invertebrates, worms, and small fish in the sand. They are gentle, curious creatures.

Standing at an impressive 6 ft. at the hips, they are not intimidated by humans.

The White Cliff beaches are also one of the best places to see groups of MinVune from the Asvehtiyi Tribe collect their catches of fish for the day. There is another undocumented MinVune tribe Mo has yet to make contact with, and watches them from afar as respect for the MinVune customs.
