Muroix Marsh

Watercolor and Pencil

2020

Several different water-acclimated species gather at the rich wetlands, bogs, and marshes along the coasts of Eastern Ifas. There are three species coexisting in this image: Muroix (three left, one right), a new undocumented species (middle, red and purple), and the ever graceful Common Easum (bottom right).

The Wetlands, Marshes, and Bogs are a hotspot of biodiversity. Many people call these ecosystems the Jewels of Nomia, due to the colorful variety of flora and fauna. â€‹

There are extremely strict rules on travel to and through these delicate ecosystems.

The Marsh on the left is a transition from the Muroix Marsh to the more open  lowlands leading up to Yoding City.
